TSMC Appoints Yeon-Gun Jung Head of TSMC Korea

Hsinchu, Taiwan, R.O.C. -- October 8, 2007 -- TSMC today announced the appointment of Yeon-Gun Jung as head of TSMC Korea. Mr. Jung joined TSMC beginning October 1 and is responsible for providing field technical support to Korean customers.

Before joining TSMC, Mr. Jung was Sales Director for Cadence Design Systems in Korea. Prior to that, he also held positions with Magma Design Automation, DASKO, and Texas Instruments Korea, among other companies. Mr. Jung earned an M.S. in Electronic Communication from the Hanyang Graduate School of Electronic Engineering in 1986.
