Parthus Technolologies and Telematix Corporation announce a Strategic Partnership for Developing and Marketing Wireless LAN Technology

San Jose, Calif. - April 25, 2002- Parthus Technologies (Nasdaq: PRTH, LSE: PRH), a leading provider of platform-level intellectual property targeting the mobile Internet, and Telematix Corporation, a leading provider of multi-protocol wireless networking technology, today announced a strategic partnership to develop and market wireless networking intellectual property for the 802.11 WLAN market.

As part of the partnership, Parthus will exploit Telematix' unique packet processing technology, called PacketGenie™, which has been optimised for IEEE 802.11 multi-protocol wireless networking applications. Leveraging PacketGenie™ greatly reduces the chip size and power dissipation of 802.11 Integrated Circuits.

802.11 is a family of specifications for wireless local area networks (WLANs) developed by a working group of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). There are currently three specifications in the family: 802.11, 802.11a and 802.11b.
