Evatronix and M31 Tech Introduce a USB-IF Certified Complete SuperSpeed USB 3.0 IP Solution

Evatronix and M31 Tech to offer a complete USB 3.0 solution with a digital IP controller, analog PHY and supporting software stacks and classes.

Bielsko-Biala, Poland/Hsinchu, Taiwan, – August 29, 2012 - Evatronix SA, developer of IP solutions for SuperSpeed and High-Speed controllers and M31 Tech, developer of the world’s smallest SuperSpeed USB 3.0 PHY, announced today the successful certification of a complete USB 3.0 solution and its immediate availability in the market. The solution passed all compliance tests run by the official USB body, USB-IF and can now officially bear the name of a USB-certified product.

The cooperation between the companies made it possible to offer USB application designers a verified and silicon-proven solution for the fastest USB connection available today. Digital IP and software experience by Evatronix merges ideally with the AMS expertise presented by M31 Technology to achieve the performance of individually designed components with the security and robustness of a complete, combined product.

The Evatronix SuperSpeed USB 3.0 digital IP is one of the most versatile products for USB applications. With support for all USB data transfer rates and all available USB classes, like mass storage (both UASP and BOT), communication and video/audio classes, the scope of applications is virtually unlimited.

The M31 USB 3.0 PHY IP adopts unique hybrid architecture to achieve low power, compact area and robust performance. Implemented in 0.11um process and with smallest area in the world, it helps customer's product to be lowest cost and most competitive. Based on rich USB experience and complete deliverables, it is very easy to integrate and validate in silicon.
