Tality Strengthens Executive Management TeamFormer Motorola Executive Mike Malone Appointed Senior Vice President of IC Division San Jose, CA. - May 6, 2002 - Tality Corporation today announced that it has appointed Mike Malone as senior vice president of the company's newly formed Integrated Circuit (IC) division. The organization includes Tality's digital, analog and mixed signal IC design and intellectual property (IP) offerings. Prior to joining the company, Malone spent fourteen years with Motorola. His last post was as vice president and general manager within Motorola's cellular infrastructure business. During his tenure, he held numerous executive positions in sales, marketing and strategic development. Malone began his career with GTE as an engineer, later serving in project management and general management roles. "Mike brings extensive management experience to Tality," said Brent Hudson, president of Tality. "With a strong background managing large IC, systems and service organizations, he is a great addition to the team." "Tality is well positioned to capitalize on changes about to sweep the electronics industry," said Malone. "Increasing design complexity coupled with continued pressure to decrease design cycle time is driving companies to collaborate with external design service and IP providers to bring products to market. I anticipate this trend accelerating rapidly in the next few years, which is why I was drawn to Tality." About Tality Press Contacts Jim Douglas |
