Actel Joins HyperTransport Technology Consortium

Membership Illustrates Actel's Commitment to Solve Industry Interoperability Problems

SUNNYVALE, Calif., June 24, 2002 - As part of its BridgeFPGA™ corporate initiative to deliver optimized communications interface solutions for bridging applications, Actel Corporation (Nasdaq: ACTL) today announced that it has joined the HyperTransport™ Technology Consortium, an organization aimed at promoting the development and adoption of the HyperTransport interface standard. As a member, Actel is demonstrating its determination to remove system design bottlenecks and dramatically increase the performance of next-generation, high-speed communications designs.
