Breker Verification Systems, Truechip Solutions Partner to Provide Interoperable, High-Quality Verification IP EnvironmentSAN JOSE, CA -- May 27, 2014 --- Breker Verification Systems, The System-on-Chip (SoC) Verification Company, and Truechip, the verification IP specialist, today announced a joint partnership to provide an interoperable and high-quality Verification Intellectual Property (Verification IP) environment. As exclusive partners, both companies will demonstrate interoperability on Truechip's highly configurable and popular USB3.0 Verification IP as the first case. Truechip will build a scenario model IP (SMIP) for its Verification IP using Breker's TrekSoC™ software that automates the generation of self-verifying test cases for multi-threaded, multiprocessor SoCs. Engineers evaluating or buying Truechip's lightweight, high-quality and production-proven Verification IP will receive an environment that includes the SMIP and a 30-day TrekSoC license at no cost, enabling them to close design coverage faster. Similarly, TrekSoC users will have the ability to evaluate and use Truechip's Verification IP and SMIP through a 30-day license provided by Breker. The USB VIP environment, including the SMIP and TrekSoC license, will be available for purchase in Q3 from Breker and Truechip. Pricing is available upon request. "Breker has established itself as a leader of the emerging and increasingly important SoC verification space," remarks Nitin Kishore, chief executive officer (CEO) of Truechip. "Our partnership will give engineers an additional tool to close on their SoC coverage goals (Breker's TrekSoC) along with our production-proven Verification IP." "Truechip's Verification IP, equipped with strong protocol checkers, is increasingly becoming the popular choice," says Adnan Hamid, CEO of Breker Verification Systems. "Bringing such VIP to engineering teams adds value for them. With this exclusive partnership, Truechip and Breker are providing a way for engineers to better integrate and verify their IP into an SoC, setting the two companies apart from other vendors in this space."
