AMIRIX Awarded $650,000 Design ProjectHALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, August 1, 2002 - AMIRIX Systems Inc., a provider of customized embedded systems design services, announced today that they have been awarded a $650,000 (CDN) board and FPGA design contract by SITA Information Networking Computing Canada, Inc. AMIRIX is developing a custom cPCI card with dual PowerQUICC processors and a CommFPGA that supports application specific I/O ports. The processor board and FPGA will form part of an Airline Concentrator Node (ACN) system currently under development by SITA.
