SOMA models for more than 400 Samsung memory devices now available on eMemory.com
San Jose & Palo Alto, Calif.,---October 7, 2002 Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. and Denali Software, Inc. today announced they are entering into an agreement for Denali to produce simulation models for Samsung memory devices in Denali's SOMA format. The models help engineers perform advanced simulations of the interaction between their product designs and Samsung memory devices -- ultimately speeding product development cycles and increasing overall product quality.
An earlier collaboration between the two companies resulted in the development of SOMA models for Samsung's industry-first 512Mb DDRII-SDRAM devices. IBM used the SOMA models for these devices to validate its design of the first working DDRII-SDRAM memory system.
