StarChip's Secure IC for Bank Cards Enabled by SST's SuperFlash TechnologySecure Device Manufactured with 110 nm Technology Contains Embedded SuperFlash Technology from SST CHANDLER, Ariz., Jan. 31, 2017 — Microchip Technology Inc. (NASDAQ: MCHP), a leading provider of microcontroller, mixed-signal, analog and Flash-IP solutions, through its Silicon Storage Technology (SST) subsidiary, today announced their embedded SuperFlash® technology is enabling secure bank cards through a secure integrated circuit (IC) from StarChip®, a subsidiary of SAFRAN Security & Identity.
