Announcing the Opening of the Global Unichip Corporation Tainan Office

GUC is now expanding upon its design team and hiring exceptional designers in southern Taiwan

Nov 13, 2017, Hsinchu -- Custom ASIC Leader Global Unichip Corporation (GUC) Announces Official Opening of Tainan Office. To satisfy larger business demand, Global Unichip is currently expanding the organization of its design team and is in the process of recruiting designers for its Tainan office. Global Unichip’s Tainan office is located at No. 189, Section 1, Yongfu Road, West Central District, Tainan City (Room A1, 5F, Cathay Landmark Tainan).

There is currently a strong worldwide demand for customized chips and higher complexity in advanced process chips. But, with a limited design team, Global Unichip is currently unable to deliver on such large orders. In view of meeting these needs, Global Unichip has begun scouting for talented designers at its Hsinchu headquarters as well as at its overseas bases so that it can provide its clients with the most advanced, most complete design solutions. In addition, it has scouted for new office locations so that it can attract more local designers. In addition to the Tainan office, GUC has also built an office in Nanjing, which will be a hub for design and R&D personnel and will in the future focus on advanced process chip design and support for projects from multinational clients.
