With consistent evolution of the FPGA architecture, Xilinx Virtex-II, Virtex-II Pro™ and the most recently introduced Virtex-II Pro X FPGAs, have enabled many leading-edge applications in cellular base stations, high-end networking and storage equipment, broadcast video, and test and measurement equipment.
