(Nasdaq: MIPS) and Green Hills Software, Inc. today announced that Green Hills Software's comprehensive set of software development tools for MIPS-Based™ applications supports the new MIPS32® 24K™ core family, the embedded industry's highest performance 32-bit synthesizable processor cores. By using Green Hills Software's fully integrated, end-to-end MULTI Integrated Development Environment (IDE), MIPS Technologies licensees, SOC developers and end users of 24K core-based systems can increase programmer productivity, reduce development cost and speed time-to-market. The comprehensive tool set, which is optimized for the MIPS32 and MIPS64® architectures, integrates the Green Hills MULTI® Integrated Development Environment (IDE) with simulators from MIPS Technologies, a high-performance hardware debug probe, and operating systems support across a wide range of applications.
