Denali Databahn Memory Controller Core Once Again Selected By Silverback Systems For Storage Network Access Processor FamilyiSNAP™ Products Showcase Quality, Performance of Databahn IP Palo Alto, Calif., April 5, 2004--Denali Software Inc.'s popular Databahn™ memory controller intellectual property (IP) has been implemented in the newest member of Silverback Systems' storage network access processor family, the iSNAP 2110. Databahn IP has also been used in an earlier design by Silverback Systems. iSNAP allows networking storage equipment vendors to offer their customers increased value through lower power dissipation, higher performance and reduced design-in cost. "This is our second product using Denali's Databahn memory controller IP. We are quite pleased with the quality, performance and verification expertise of the company and its products. Denali's Databahn memory controller core supports DDR1 (which is used by Silverback Systems), DDR2 and dual-mode DDR1&2 operation, and is licensed by more than 40 leading semiconductor and system companies for use in commercial chip designs. Databahn cores are library independent and cover solutions from .18-micron to .08-micron technologies, and support DRAM device frequencies from 100-400MHz (200-800MHz data rate).
