| LONDON — RISC processor licensor ARM Holdings plc has presented plans to re-enter the DSP market with a hardware accelerator design approach called Optimode. The product name stands for optimal data engine, and was described in a presentation to analysts and investors at ARM's Cambridge headquarters Thursday (May 13) ahead of a technical presentation at next week's Embedded Processor Forum. "Optimode is a configurable architecture and tool set for implementing embedded signal and data processing solutions," Mike Inglis, ARM's executive vice president of marketing, said in his presentation.
