January 11th, 2005 – Osaka, Japan and Ottawa, Canada. Elliptic Semiconductor, a leading company in broadband and wireless semiconductor products, announced today that Daihen Corporation has become a member of its Elliptic Alliance Partner Program (EAPP). As a member of the EAPP program, Daihen will be able to offer their clients in Japan leading edge security and network protocol processor solutions in addition to its wide Semiconductor IP lineup.

In addition, Elliptic offers low power implementations of TCP/IP offload engines and related security for network enabled cameras, cell phones and media gateways.
