Faraday successfully cracks the Ethernet 10/100 niche marketFaraday founds a success in the new niche market with volume productions of its Ethernet-based ICs HSINCHU Taiwan and SUNNYVALE CA, January 12, 2005 -- Ever since the home networking began to evolve from the traditional 10/100 Ethernet to wireless, the IEEE802.11 wirelessLAN standard is rapidly becoming the mainstream technology today. However, the emergence of the wireless technology also resulted in the fearsome competition among the wireless application vendors. As a result, the traditional 10/100 Ethernet is able to find a new niche market outside the PC world, namely in the areas of warehouse management, industry control, and industrial equipment automation.
