Supported by PLD Applications and MorethanIP, Altera’s complete and compliant PCI Express solutions feature Stratix® GX FPGAs and offer designers a low-risk methodology for their PCI Express applications. Altera and Modelware will also demonstrate an Advanced Switching solution for point-to-point high-speed serial communication using Altera’s Stratix GX FPGA and Modelware’s Advanced Switching IP. Implemented on an Advanced Telecom Computing Architecture (ATCA) backplane, this “triple speed” demonstration features three different data streams simultaneously operating at three different data rates in an ATCA chassis.
