Digital Core Design Announces World's smallest and fastest 8051 Core
DT8051 core provides efficient real-time TTAGTM based DoCD debugger, is fully user configurable and wrapped 0.0714 square milimiters (0.18 um technology) - there are the most important features. The 2-wire on-chip debugging solution makes DT8051 perfect for low-pin count applications, where chip size has a matter. DT8051 provides the best area (7150 ASIC gates) to performance (8.1 times faster) ratio which makes it the best solution available on the 8051 IP market. Customers don't have to sacrifice the top performance and pickup worse option from other IP vendors. This dilemma has been solved by DCD's DT8051 core, which is the most versalite solution applicable for everyday's work of design engineers.
This Core is available in VERILOG Source code, VHDL Source code and FPGA Netlist formats for immediate purchase from Digital Core Design. DCD also offers a variety of additional packaging and flexible licensing options to suit customer's specific needs.
