Certus Semiconductor Joins IPextreme's Constellations Program
CAMPBELL, CA - August 25, 2010 - IPextreme®, Inc., the company bringing famous IP (intellectual property) to SoC (system-on-chip) designers worldwide and Certus Semiconductor, a leading provider of IO and ESD design solutions, have announced the inclusion of Certus Semiconductor in IPextreme’s Constellations™ program. Constellations is collaborative effort through which member companies share leads to create a global “virtual sales force”. Member companies submit sales leads for semiconductor IP that they do not offer into the Constellations sales database, where the sales leads become available to the relevant member companies, thereby expanding the global sales footprint of each member company.
“The ultimate goal of a service and product provider is to successfully meet the needs of their customers” commented Stephen Fairbanks, Co-director of Certus Semiconductor. “In order to better meet those needs, Certus has found, within the Constellations community, a complementary team of companies who not only offer a complete and wide ranging scale of technology IP, but have a level of quality and expertise that is superior to most. We are proud to join this community.”
“Certus Semiconductor’s technology fills an important need in the Constellations IP catalogue” said Warren Savage, President and CEO of IPextreme. “The standard and custom ESD and IO libraries from Certus Semiconductor are the perfect complement to the growing collection of processor, video, audio, on-chip bus/network, and memory IP currently available through the Constellations program.”
