TSMC Names Silicon Creations Emerging IP Vendor for 2014
Silicon Creations PLL IP Tapeout Design Kits Silicon Proven in TSMC 16nm FinFET Process
SUWANEE, GA. –– October 16, 2014 –– Silicon Creations, a leading supplier of high-performance semi-custom analog and mixed-signal Intellectual Property (IP), today announced that it received TSMC’s Emerging IP Partner of the Year Award for 2014.
The award, presented September 30 at the TSMC Open Innovation Platform® Ecosystem Forum in San Jose, Calif., commended Silicon Creations for its rapidly growing importance as a provider of reliable IP for TSMC customers.
Additionally, Silicon Creations announced immediate availability of Tapeout Design Kits for its PLL IP, silicon proven in the TSMC 16 nanometer (nm) FinFET CMOS process. The Fractional-N PLL is able to program output frequency in steps smaller than 0.01ppm.
