AMIRIX appoints Sandra Greer as President & CEO
HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA, January 13, 2003 - AMIRIX Systems Inc., a provider of customized embedded systems design services, announced today that Sandra Greer has been appointed President & CEO.
"In light of the significant progress that AMIRIX has made since her appointment as Interim CEO in April of this year, we are very pleased that Sandra has accepted the position of President & CEO for the longer term," said Doug Pincock, Ph.D., AMIRIX Founder and Chairman. "In a very short time, Sandra and her team have stabilized operations, increased sales and re-established our reputation as leading edge designers."

Having recently secured contracts with three well-established companies in the Atlantic Canadian region to further evolve their product lines, AMIRIX is looking forward to developing these and other local relationships.

"By increasing our efforts to provide that service to companies here in Atlantic Canada, we can help foster regional economic development and that's good for everyone."
Prior to this appointment, Greer held various positions with General Motors, Aliant, Bristol Group and AMIRIX. She brings over 16 years of sales, marketing and business development in the technology industry to her current role.
