Artisan Components Prices Follow-On Public Offering
SUNNYVALE, Calif., -- May 7, 2003 -- Artisan Components Inc., (Nasdaq: ARTI), a leading provider of physical intellectual property (IP), today announced that it has priced the sale of 2,518,768 newly issued shares of its common stock by the company and 1,081,232 shares of its common stock by selling stockholders at $19.00 per share. The company will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholders. The company has also granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 540,000 shares to cover over-allotments, if any.
The managing underwriters of the offering are UBS Warburg LLC, RBC Capital Markets, Needham & Company, Inc. and D.A. Davidson & Co.
