HDMI2.0 TX Controller
The controller receives video, audio, synchronous signals, and control signals from the SoC logic. These signals are captured, merged, packed, scrambled, and encoded by the controller.
Various input video and audio formats can be captured by the controller. The video input supports 24/30/36-bit RGB/YCbCr 4:4:4/4:2:2/4:2:0 separate sync essential video formats and all mandatory as well as many optional 3D video formats. The audio input supports either S/PDIF or I2S input. S/PDIF input supports audio sampling rates from 32kHz to 192kHz. The I2S input supports 2-channel to 8-channel audio up to 192kHz. Content protection technology HDCP 1.4 is built in. The EDID, SCDC and CEC function are also supported.
