intoPIX creates and licenses innovative image processing & compression technology since 2006.
The intoPIX IP-cores and SDKs enable to simplify video connectivity, to reduce latency, and reduce power while increasing quality and resolutions in many devices and applications. intoPIX has developed a wide range of IP-cores for ASIC & FPGA including TICO RDD35, JPEG XS, JPEG2000, TICO-RAW, AES, RSA, SDI-MAP as well as accelerated software tools for ARM, x86 CPU or GPU architectures for image processing, compression, and streaming.
intoPIX technologies are used in image sensors and cameras, automotive ADAS systems, mobile devices, displays, wireless video, medical applications, AV over IP , aerospace, industrial vision, and any other audio-visual applications where image and video quality is a crucial asset.
intoPIX plays an active role in several international standardization committees, including JPEG, MPEG, SMPTE, VSF, MIPI,.. In 2019, intoPIX co-created and standardized the ISO JPEG-XS codec for low complexity low latency compression.
