Judge Orders Kilopass to Pay Sidense $5.5 Million in Legal Fees and Costs for Baseless Patent Infringement Lawsuit (Monday Mar. 16, 2015)
Sidense today announced that U.S. District Judge Susan Illston has ordered Kilopass Technology to pay Sidense $5.5 million for its “objectively baseless” patent infringement lawsuit initiated against Sidense in May of 2010. The fee recovery represents attorneys’ fees and associated costs.

Mentor Graphics Wins Injunction In Patent Suit With Synopsys (Friday Mar. 13, 2015)
Mentor Graphics today announced that an Oregon Federal District Court has issued an injunction in favor of Mentor Graphics. The injunction prohibits Synopsys, Inc. from making, using, selling, offering to sell, licensing or leasing in the United States any emulators or software that incorporate Mentor Graphics’ patented emulation technology covered by U.S. Patent No. 6,240,376.

WiLAN Enters Into Settlement and License Agreement With Texas Instruments (Thursday Mar. 12, 2015)
WiLAN today announced that the company's subsidiary, PLL Technologies, Inc., has entered into a settlement and license agreement with Texas Instruments. The license relates to patented phase locked loop technology used in a wide range of semiconductor products. The agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the District of Delaware.

Spansion and Macronix Reach Settlement Agreement (Tuesday Jan. 27, 2015)
