Imperas today announced that Imperas and Renesas Electronics Corporation have been cooperating on the verification of the Open Virtual Platforms Fast Processor Models of the Renesas V850 cores. Kilopass today announced that its XPM IP is integrated into a Haier Set Top Box (STB) decoder SoC targeting the global high-growth STB market. Configuration data for mixed signal components are programmed in Kilopass XPM IP for each Haier SoC during final test and can be reprogrammed once installed to accommodate wear in the mixed signal components over time.

Four years since introducing the ColdFire architecture to the semiconductor IP market, IPextreme has licensed V1, V2, and V4 implementations of the ColdFire architecture to over 100 users.
